Improve Workplace Acoustics

Proper sound masking will create a comfortable space that balances sounds that are not too quiet or loud.

How Does Sound Masking Work?

Sound masking is an engineered background sound designed to match the frequency of a human voice. Most people wouldn’t agree with us if we told you by adding more noise to a space it will actually make it quieter.

IN FACT, THAT’S TRUE!

The key is by adding this specialized sound to a space it reduces the intelligibility of human speech. In essence if you cannot understand what someone is saying your brain will not hone in on the conversation making it less distracting.

What is the Difference Between White Noise and Sound Masking?

Many people confuse white noise with sound masking. White noise is a much higher frequency on the sound chart. Because of this, white noise is very irritating when amplified. When the sound level is increased the noise created would sound like Loud Radio Static.

Sound masking is designed to match the frequency of human speech giving it a much more comfortable and pleasant experience. Unlike a loud radio static think of more like a Calming Hum Sound.
